Moonlight Densetsu is a pop song recorded by Kitade Nana. The song first appeared as the 2nd track on Kitade Nana's mini cover album, Cutie Bunny ~Nana-teki Rock Daisakusen♥ Codename wa C.B.R~.
The original version was used in the anime Sailor Moon as its opening theme song, and sung by DALI. Sailor Moon also used a version of the song sung by the group Moon Lips, consisting of the 5 main characters' voice actresses. The original tune for "Moonlight Densetsu" was inspired by the 1960's song "Sayonara wa Dance no Ato ni" by Baishou Chieko.
