Wakui Emi (和久井映見) is a Japanese actress and singer. Wakui got her chance in show business when she scouted while working at Tokyo Disneyland after graduating from high school. She would soon after appear in television doramas, commercials, and films with her first performance in an commercial in 1988. She also started a music career in 1990 with releasing her first single, entitled "My Lonely Gubbai Club".

In 1991, Wakui won the Best Actress Award at that year's Nihon Academy Taishou for her role in the movie Musuko. She also won the same award for the movie Niji no Hanashi in 1994.
