The group's idea started in the fall of 1995 when music producer [[Nana Ken'ichi]] thought to start a solo career for [[Takayama Rie]] but thought it was better to put her in a unit instead. Ken'ichi picked his other two members, Muroi Shigeru and the legendary idol Kokusho Sayuri. Two other people, [[Chiaki]] and [[Uchimura Teruyoshi]], were considered as the other part of the unit but later formed their own group, [[Pocket Biscuits]].
