Information

In 1985, Marcia was the running for the TBS contest TBS Kayou Senshuken. Afterwards, she moved to Japan from Brazil to study under composer Inomata Kosho and teacher Sakamoto Fuyumi. She debuted as a singer on January 1989 with the single "Furimukeba Yokohama". The single would win her many awards including FNS Saiyuushuu and Nihon Record Taishou for the Rookie Of The Year award.

She married Ohtsuru Gitan for ten years in 1994 before divorcing him in 2004. She also appeared in doramas, variety shows, and musicals such as Morning Musume's Ribon no Kishi musical in 2006. She also won an award for her performance in the musical Jekyll and Hyde.
