UNDER GRAPH (アンダーグラフ) is a four member Japanese rock band that is currently under the label For Life Music Entertainment. The significant idea behind the band name is "To make music in the form of human emotion that lies in the innermost recesses of the heart which can only be found beneath the surface."

Biography

Starting out doing street performances in the port city of Kobe, the band began to gain local popularity and booked gigs in live houses. Their very first single distributed by an indie label was released on March of 2002 and was titled "hana-bira." On September 22nd, 2004, after two more indies singles, UNDER GRAPH released their major debut single "Tsubasa." This single went on to sell 300,000 copies and is still their best selling single.
