"CAT'S EYE" is the 13th single recorded by ANRI. It was used as the first opening theme to anime series CAT'S EYE, and "Dancing with the sunshine" was used as the series first ending theme. The song is known as one the first Japanese pop songs used as an anime theme song. The single reached #1 on the Oricon weekly charts and became her most popular song and has been covered by various artists including CHiYO, Kita Shuhei and MAX.
In 1997, an re-arranged version was release titled, "CAT'S EYE -2000-". This time, it reached #47 on the Oricon charts and charted for five weeks.
