baby Blue is the debut studio album released by Hysteric Blue. It is a pop-rock record that was co-produced by the band and Sakuma Masahide; Who at the time was known for his work with JUDY AND MARY. The record was a bit hit for the band, riding high of the success of their single "Haru ~spring". The album reached #5 on the weekly Oricon chart, and it continued to rank for a total of fifteen weeks. In all, baby Blue sold 546,900 copies, making it the #56 best selling album for 1999. It also managed to reach #7 on Billboard Japan Album Chart.[1] The album was certified Double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan for shipments of 500,000 units.
