"HERO" is Nakayama Miho's 29th single. The title track was used as the theme song for the Fuji TV dorama For You, which Nakayama played the main character Yoshikura Yayoi. It is also a cover of the same-titled song by Mariah Carey. The single reached #8 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for 19 weeks, selling over 474,000 copies. It also reached #77 on the yearly Oricon chart for 1995.
