MADTOWN
MADTOWN (매드타운) was a Korean pop 7-member boy group that debuted in 2014 under J. Tune Camp. On December 22, 2016, it was announced that the group's contract was transferred to GNI Entertainment after the closure of J. Tune Camp.
On September 2017, the members filled a lawsuit against GNI Entertainment to end their exclusive contracts, after the CEO has been arrested for fraud and all of the staff members (including the group's manager) were leaving the company. On November 8, the court ruled in favor of the group, stating that the terms of their contracts can no longer be enforced by the agency. In the same month, MADTOWN's legal representative announced that the group was in early stages of disbandment. It was later announced that Buffy decided to enlist in the military, Dae Won and Lee Geon would remain active with the singing career and joined the TV show The Unit, Jota and Heo Jun would focus on acting careers and the remaining members Moos and H.O does not have intention to continue with idol-related activities.
On December 10, during the airing of an episode of The Unit, Dae Won and Lee Geon revealed that the group had officially disbanded.
