"BREAK OUT!" is Tohoshinki's 29th single. It was released in two formats, CD+DVD and CD Only including a 12p booklet. The title track will be used as theme song for the dorama Tomehane!.
Tohoshinki broke Elton John's record for first week sales by an international artist, with the single Candle in the Wind 1997 (184,000 copies), which lasted for 12 years and 4 months, by selling more than 255,000 copies of BREAK OUT! in the first week. Additionally, they became the first foreign artist in Japan history to pass the 200,000 mark in initial sales.
