Information

The band came to life in 2003 after Ishida Shokichi decided that he wanted to form a cover band. He contacted several people to help him out; drummer Horinobu Yoshi that Ishida knew from his amateur days, bassist Tamura Akihiro that Ishida knew through Spitz's producer, and former labelmate Kurosawa Kenichi. MOTORWORKS made their debut in November 2003 at a Ishida's main band's, Scudelia Electro, live, performing a cover of the Beatles' song "Helter Skelter".

MOTORWORKS released their first original single, entitled "SPEEDER", on July 28, 2004. The band released three singles, one album, and one DVD in total. After the released of the DVD BRAND-NEW MOTOR SHOW, the band decided to disband.
