Information

Kurosawa Kenichi got his start in the music business when he entered his amateur band in a contest. The band won a special prize from Komoro Tetsuya. This gave Kurosawa a chance to start producing music at the age of 19. He started to produce music for many artists like Minamino Yoko and Shimada Naomi.

In 1990, Kurosawa Kenichi submitted a demo tape to an acquaintance, Okai Daiji, for his then-new band named L⇔R. Okai liked what he heard and introduced Polydor Records executive producer at the time, Masamura Kenichi, to Kurosawa. Masamura signed the band to Polydor soon after. However, L⇔R didn't release their debut album until a year later after the band added three new members. The band was successful with Kurosawa providing vocals and guitar. But, L⇔R disbanded in 1998 after their "CONCERT TOUR '97 "Doubt"".

After L⇔R's disbandment, Kurosawa Kenichi embarked on a solo career. He released his first single, entitled "WONDERING", on June 3, 1998. Kurosawa also participated in various short-lived bands like curve509, Science Ministry, Hanky Panky, MOTORWORKS, and Ken'z
