BLOW-UP is a compilation record compiled by Takimi Kenji and is the initial release for CRU-EL RECORDS. This is the first release to feature solo recordings by Mike's friend Kahimi Karie; she had previously recorded with Fancy Face Groovy Name with Minekawa Takako. Kahimi's boyfriend at the time, Oyamada Keigo talked her into singing in with Mike's studio band, and ended up working on these songs. The Cruel Grand Orchestra went on to record Kahimi's debut solo single "Mikes Alway's Diary".
