Alpha is the second album released by alice nine. This was released in two different versions: a limited CD+DVD edition and a regular CD only edition. The limited edition comes in special packaging and includes a DVD of the PVs and its making ofs of the songs "cosmic world" and "Blue Planet". The "Blue Planet" in the tracklistings is a re-recorded version of the digital single released a year prior. Also included is the DVD single "NUMBER SIX.". Notably missing from the tracklist is the single "TSUBASA.", which was released a month before. The album reached #9 on the Oricon charts, where it charted for eight weeks. A band score for Alpha was released three months later on February 29th, 2008.
