"Kibou no Wa (WA) / Gesshoku ~winter moon~" is the 15th major single (17th overall) released by miwa. The single was released in two versions: a limited CD+DVD edition and a regular CD Only edition. "Kibou no Wa (WA)" was used as the OECD Tohoku School Tohoku-WA Renaissance theme song while "Gesshoku ~winter moon~" was used as the theme song for the TBS drama Mama to Papa ga Ikiru Riyuu.
