Biography
Takako Uehara (Uehara Takako, 上原多香子, born January 14, 1983 in Okinawa, Japan) is a member of the JPop group, SPEED. She is from Okinawa. After SPEEDs disbandment, she began pursuing a moderately successful solo career as well as an acting career but has since rejoined SPEED officially in 2008 when the group reassembled.
Takako had been in the news recently due to her alleged dating of Akanishi Jin, a popular idol belonging to the group KAT-TUN.
She has been in many commercials such as Shiseido, Dunlop Tyres, Docomo and Tsubaki Shampoo to name a few. She has also done a lot of Jdramas for example Shinjuku boso kyukyutai (Eriko Imai did a cameo appearance in this Jdrama), Nurse no oshigoto 3, Yomigaeru kinro and Beauty 7 (the theme song is Hiroko Shimabukuro's fourth single, Your Innocence). Unlike Hiro and Eriko Imai who are focused more on music and Hitoe on her arts, Takako is more known for her acting and in Jdramas and commercials.
