ALADDIN (アラジン) was a Japanese rock band from 1980 to 1983. The band formed at Nagoya University of Commerce & Business as a folk group in 1980. However, the group later took a Rock n' Roll style to the music, a decision that made them a hit among the audience.
A year later in 1981, the band compete in the Yamaha Popular Song Contest and won the grand prix. They released their first single, , later that year. The band broke up in 1983 due to unknown reasons. But, the band got back together to do a performance on the television show 27 TV twenty years later.
