Acoustic Beatles Club formed in 1999 when OFF COURSE members Shimizu, Ooma, and Matsuo got together to perform in a live house concert, performing various The Beatles songs. The band released their first album, ABC Vol.1 - A.B.C, in 2000 with a mix of acoustic covers of songs by The Beatles and OFF COURSE songs.

The band released their second album in 2003, entitled ABC Vol.2 - A.B.C. They also went off touring all over Japan, playing at mostly live houses and conventions.
