Amit is the 12th album released by A-Mei and first released under Amit. This album showed a significant change in the genre of music A-Mei sung, as most of the songs were of rock. It was released in several different editions; regular, limited white, limited black and limited CD+DVD. The Hong Kong version includes a bonus single with the song "Chuang Qian Si Gu Meng", which is A-Mei's first Cantonese song. The limited CD+DVD edition included a bonus Taiwanese track, "Meng Zhong Zuo Han Ren". The regular edition featured both the limited white and limited black covers. Preorder editions (limited white and limited black) of the album included a 3D poster or DVD with a music video.
