The single was a big hit, hitting the top of the Oricon chart and landing the band's first appearance on the television special program Kouhaku Otagassen. At the end of the year, the band also won the award for best Pop/Rock group at the 32nd Japan Record Awards.

After two years of success, the band disbanded after their last single.

In 2011 the four components of this band returns.
