Tsubakura Yuiko (坪倉唯子) is a Japanese singer under the label Being Records and former vocalist of the band B.B.QUEENS.

Information

Tsubakura got her start singing in the unit Kuwana Haruko with Baker Shop in 1980. A year later, she competed in the Yamaha Popular Song Contest but lost to the band ALADDIN. But it didn't stop her as she became a solo singer in 1985 with the debut of her first single. She also became the backing chorus for many of the songs by Nakajima Miyuki, Nakahara Meiko, Wanatabe Misato, and later the band B'z. Years later, she would joined the Nagisa no All Stars in 1989.

From 1990 to 1992, Tsubakura became a member of the band B.B.QUEENS. The band as very successful, earning top hits and winning the award for Best Pop/Rock Band at that year's Japan Record Awards. She would later become a musical actress and would premier on the musical Rent.

In 2006, in honor of the passing of Honda Minako, Tsubkakura would join her fellow musicians and released the single wish. She would also join the Fukuyama Masaharu band INOUE AKIRA & M.I.H.BAND as vocals.
