Information

Before the formation of CooRie, it's members were already known in the music industry. Osada Naoyuki started his career in 1999 as the keyboardist for the rock band keno until they broke up in 2001. In 2002, rino appeared on the scene as a vocalist and lyricist. She first joined yozuca* to formed the group yozurino*.

CooRie formed in 2003 as a two-member anison band. With lyrics and vocals being handled by rino and music and production by Osada Naoyuki. They signed with Lantis record label, under the Mellow Head sub-label. Osada wasn't with the band for very long and only worked on two singles: "Taisetsu na Negai" and "Nagareboshi". At the end of 2003 Osada parted from the group and rino released a solo single, "Boku wa Koko ni Iru".

Instead of disbanding the group, rino decided to continued CooRie as a solo project. With the release of 2004's "Sentimental" (opening theme to the Midori no Hibi anime) rino started acting as the composer. By the end of the year CooRie released their debut album, Aki Yasumi. That year rino also became a producer, working with Nakabara Mai, writing and composing several of her singles.
