Luzmelt was formed in Tokyo, Japan towards the end of 2009 by yuhma. Luzmelt's concept was to represent light and darkness chased after by people who had lost their hearts. "Luz" meaning light in Spanish and "Melt" coming from English. The band had a small use of electronic vocals within a few of their singles. The original lineup for the band consisted of two guitarist, one drummer, one bassist and one vocalist.
