Information

"MAGO" is a song recorded by GFRIEND. It can be found as track #1 on their third Korean studio album 回:Walpurgis Night and served as the album lead track. It is a reinterpretation of 80's disco by the group, emphasizing both work and friendship, being honest to own desires and not being swayed by the words and thoughts of others. Through the lyrics of "MAGO.. MAGO", they presented a symbol of "modern witch" that reflecting the image of a woman who lives her own life. The symbol of witch was also incorporated in their choreography by rotating their hands in the chorus, reminiscing of chanting and casting a spell. The title "MAGO" either refers to Magu, the goddess of Korean mythology, or "magus" in Spanish, which means "a witch" in English.

The song debuted and peaked at #42 on Digital Gaon Chart.
