"Manatsu no Taiyou" is the fifth (3rd solo) single released by Ohara Sakurako. The single was released in three versions: a limited CD+DVD+Photobook edition (Type-A), a limited CD+DVD edition (Type-B), and a regular CD only edition. The title track was used as the CM song for the smartphone game Shironeko Project, while the song "Glorious morning" was used as the theme for Fuji TV's Mezamashi Doyoubi
