"I am I" is the tenth single (12th overall) released by Ohara Sakurako. It was released in three versions: a limited CD+DVD edition, a complete limited CD+GOODS edition that comes with a SAKURAKO OHARA HOTEL key holder, and a regular CD edition. The title track was used as the theme for the drama Bishonure Tantei Mizuno Hagoromo and the song "Mikansei no Story" was used as the theme for the drama Koisuru♥Home Stay. The single peaked at #11 on the Oricon weekly singles chart and charted for a total of four weeks, selling 11,452 copies.
