Quruli (くるり) is an alternative Japanese rock band from Kyoto that formed in 1996. They are signed to SPEEDSTAR RECORDS and Bad News Records, subsidiaries of Victor Entertainment Inc.. Since late 2006, the band has been a two piece unit, using various support musicians. They are influenced by and use many styles of music, such as: rock, grunge, jazz, blues, and some techno and house. Quruli have their own indies label called NOISE McCARTNEY RECORDS where they are the executive producer.
