SPYAIR was formed in 2005 and self-produced many works up until 2009 when they signed with the Indie label, [[U-PROJECT]]. While with [[U-PROJECT]], they first released "[[Japanication]]" and "[[Kanjou Discord]]" building up fame and performing lives until being signed to a major record deal with [[Sony Music Entertainment#Sony Music Associated Records|Sony Music Associated Records]] in 2010. Their major debut single, "[[Liar (SPYAIR)|LIAR]]", was dropped on August 11, 2010. The title song is used as theme song for the TV drama ‘HAMMER SESSION!’ with director [[Aso Manabu]] and the actors [[Hayami Mokomichi]], [[Shida Mirai]] and [[Higa Manami]] as part of the main cast. All of SPYAIR's older releases are permanently out of print.  They were self-published and never sold in stores.  With the exception of the album "[[Alive (SPYAIR)|alive]]", but even that is out of print now. SPYAIR is a Japanese rock band formed in 2005. All of their older releases are permanently out of print as they were self-published and never sold in stores. They used to hold street lives in Nagoya fairly often, which is where they sold their music. The name SPYAIR was determined in one shot by the members, which came from the word spyware, a type of computer virus.
