The Blowing is the 3rd Korean mini-album released by HIGHLIGHT. It was released in 3 versions: a BREEZE version, WIND version and GUST version. "Bureoonda (NOT THE END)" was served as a lead track for the mini-album. It was their first release after three-year hiatus because of the members mandatory military service and also marked the group's first release as a quartet.
The mini-album debuted at #2 on weekly Gaon Album Chart. Despite being the group's Korean release, the mini-album managed to enter Japan Oricon charts and peaked at #41 on weekly album charts.
