Variety is Tokyo Jihen's third album. For this Tokyo Jihen album instead of Shiina Ringo composing the majority of the band's music, selections of the best work from the other members' own songs were picked to be released. The album will feature 13 songs. Out of the new songs on the album, seven were composed by [[Ukigumo]], five by [[Izawa Ichiyou]] and one by [[Kameda Seiji]].
