Wax (Hangul: 왁스) is a female Korean singer. Prior to starting her solo career, she was the main vocalist for the rock group DOG. She has released 6 original Korean albums (as well as one best album) to date, as well as one Japanese single and one Japanese album. Her albums contain songs of a wide range of genres, from dance to ballads.

  • She has many hit songs including Omma e Irki, Oppa (a cover of Cyndi Lauper's "She-bop"), Hwajang eul Gochigo, Money, and Buh Tak Hae Yo.
  • Wax, along with fellow solo female singer Lee Soo Young, is noted for continuing to have remarkably high record sales even through the Korean pop market is in a bit of a slump, earning the two of them the title of "Female singers who don't know the meaning of a recession".
