Itano Tomomi

Itano Tomomi (板野友美) is a Japanese pop singer, fashion model, and talent managed by Horipro She was born July 3, 1991 in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. She is best known as a former member of AKB48, having been part of their first generation and also as a member of Team K.

In 2011 she debuted solo with a single titled "Dear J", which was followed the same year by "Fui ni", which reached number 1 in Japan, and later by "10nengo no Kimi e" in 2012. On February 1, 2013, during an AKB48 stage greeting, Itano announced she was leaving the group. She released her fourth single "1%" On June 12.

She had her farewell "graduation" ceremony at the Tokyo Dome on August 25th, and a follow-up performance on August 27th at the AKB48 Theater. Her graduation song is "Saigo no Door", which was released as a b-side on one of the editions of AKB48's single "Koisuru Fortune Cookie". After her graduation, she continued her solo career, releasing four additional singles and a studio album.

Her second studio album Get Ready♡ is released this week on November 2nd.
