Information

BONITA was formed after an audition to form the next idol group for the television variety show Ninkimono de Ikou! in 2000, which resulted in Sonoda, Egawa, Asami, and Yasuda winning the audition. They debuted later in 2001 with the single "ONLY YOU" released in South Korea. Their next single, "Romance", was released in Japan the month after as a re-written "Only You" with changed lyrics.

After the ending of Ninkimono de Ikou!, the group became a regular on a wrestling program called Dangan! Heroes. But when the show ended on February 2002, the group ultimately disbanded at the same time.
