"Best Friend" is the 22nd single released by Sonar Pocket. It was released in four versions: a limited CD+DVD edition and 3 regular CD Only editions (Types A ~Nijiiro Days Edition~, B, C). The title track was used as the opening theme for the anime Nijiiro Days. On the cover of the limited edition and regular edition (a, b) is written "Best Friend / Ai wo Komete Okuru Uta (ベストフレンド／愛をこめて贈る歌)" like it was a double a-side single.
