"evergreen" is HYDE's debut solo single. It was released in two versions: a limited 8cm single edition that comes in a coffin shaped jewel case and a regular 12cm single edition. This single reached #1 on the Oricon charts and sold 323,160 copies in 2001, becoming the #58 single of the year. It charted for seven weeks and sold a total of 331,000 copies.
