FAREWELL is Van Tomiko's debut album. Breaking the trend of the standard Japanese releases, Van Tomiko did not release any singles prior to this album release. "morning glory" was the movie Ski Jumping Pairs -Road to TORINO 2006-'s theme song, "horoscope" was the drama OUT LIMIT's theme song, and "Nue no Naku Yoru" was NHK's Mokuyoubi Jidaigeki theme song. The album reached #7 on the Oricon weekly chart, and stayed on the chart for a total of ten weeks, selling 45,409 copies.
