Kanshou / MERMAID is Ueto Aya's fifth single. First press edition came with a different jacket. Kanshou was used as the theme song for the dorama Hitonatsu no Papa e, starring Ueto Aya herself. MERMAID was the LOTTE "Soh" CM song. This single reached #9 on the Oricon charts, charted for seven weeks and sold 39,860 copies.
