Kikuzato always wanted to be an actress in foreign films. In 2002, she won the grand prix award at the "Shinseiki Kid Idol wo Sagase!" contest. In 2009, she won the grand prix award for Miss Magazine 2009. She also won a chance to become an image girl for the drink Fanta. She became a member of the idol group bump.y that same year. But, she decided to quit the group less than a year later to focus on schoolwork.
