"Mata Aimashou" is SEAMO's fourth single. It is his first to be released in two versions: a limited CD+DVD edition and a regular CD only edition. The title track was used as the fifteenth ending theme song for the variety show Beat Takeshi no TV Tackle, and later the theme song for the OVA Tokyo Marble Chocolate, which featured the voice of SEAMO himself. The single reached #14 on the Oricon charts and charted for 55 weeks. As this single sold 174,895 copies in 2006, it was the #59 single of the year. Overall, it sold 204,608 copies. The single's success earned him his first appearance at NHK's Kouhaku Uta Gassen, where he performed a medley of "Mata Aimashou" and "Lupin the Fire".
