"Nan Namjaya" is a song released by Park Ji Yoon and included on her fifth album Man as track #2. It was used as a lead track for the album. The song became another huge hit for her and furthered her stardom.
Music Video
The music video stars Park as a woman knitting on a rooftop as a apple rolls down the roof. The same female Park is shown knitting in a chair, she is later shown eating an apple and bites down on a worm that was in the apple. A male Park shaves in a restroom and uses the same razor to peel an apple. Female Park walks into male Park in the same restroom. The rest of the video shows two male Park's in two different black suits dancing with other men in the same costumes. There are also quick closeup shots of Park as a man in black & white and sepia singing to the song. The video goes out of the song and shows female Park crawling along pipe lines and looking in on men working out and male park posing as steam hits him. The video continues showing male Park dancing and showing the same closeups. As the video ends it shows female Park being locked inside of a car about to blow up screaming for help as male Park walks away, showing that he locked her into the car. At the end of the video the car explodes killing female Park. Also the music video was so dark for its time that the video was banned from many Korean networks.
The song is about a girl who was dumped by a guy.She was so hurt and decided to heal herself by transforming into a male, to deal with emotions and relationship in a male way.
