One Million Star
From generasia
One Million Star (超級星光大道) is a popular televised Taiwanese singing competition. Contestants go through rigorous rounds of singing challenges in front of a panel of judges before a top six are chosen. From these top six (who do not get eliminated) a winner is chosen after being graded each round. The prize is usually a record contract and one million NT dollars. The show is hosted by Matilda Tao.
