"Prelude -We are not alone-" is Oto Fumi's fourth single. The title song was used as the opening theme for the anime Yoake Mae Yori Ruriiro na ~Crescent Love~. The single reached #43 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for three weeks.
A few months later, Oto re-released the single as her sixth single, "Prelude -We are not alone- Piano Fragrance". This single features a remix of "Prelude -We are not alone-" and a b-side, "Ashita no Kimi ni Aitakute". It failed to chart on the Oricon charts.
