Sato Tamao (さとう珠緒) is a Japanese actress and talento. She is well-known for playing the character Maruo Momo / Pink Ohranger on the Super Sentai series Chouriki Sentai Ohranger and appearing on many popular variety shows.

Sato Tamao got her break in 1988 when she won the semi-grand prix at the second annual Miss Action Audition. She did a small amount of appearances on various TV shows for a few years. However, she stopped show business activities for a while in 1990.

In 1991, she reappeared in the spotlight when she won the semi-grand prix for the Yantan Chayacho Gakuen Ochamegumi 2kisei contest. After winning the semi-grand prix, Sato decided to restart show business activities. She appeared as a gravure model for the magazine Zuppin under the stage name Sakura Tamao (桜珠緒) Sato also went onto become the TBC Summer Campaign Character for 1993.

Sato Tamao decided to venture into acting in 1995 under the stage name Tamao (珠緒). She appeared in her first drama, the Super Sentai series [[Chouriki Sentai Ohranger]], as the character Maruo Momo / Pink Ohranger. After the show, Sato decided to use the current stage name Sato Tamao (さとう珠緒) for future appearances. Sato also started to appear in various variety shows such as Mini Skirt Polis and Ai no Kaze in 1996. She became very popular after appearing on such shows like Super Keiba (1997-2002), Ousama no Brunch (1998-2003), and Umanari-kun (1998-2002).

In 1997, she won the Rookie of the Year Award in broadcasting at the 35th Annual Golden Arrow Shou.

Earlier in her career, Sato Tamao was under the agency Petit Smile. However, she is currently attached to no agency as she represents herself.
