"Sayonara Baby" is the 26th single released by Southern All Stars. It was released in three formats: vinyl, 8cm CD and cassette. The title track was used as theme song for the movie Kanojo ga Mizugi ni Kigaetara. The single reached #1 on Oricon charts, becoming their first #1 single, and charted for 21 weeks, selling 244,060 copies in 1989 and becoming the #33 single of that year.
