Serial⇔NUMBER promoting "Hime Koi Number" (2005)

Serial⇔NUMBER was formed in April of 2005 with the line-up of: vocalist Sasaki Jin (ex-Inazuma), guitarist Shiyuu (ex-Malefice Dia), guitarist Kazune (ex-CureBLAST), and bassist Tama (ex-Silverhythm). They had a drummer, Kai (ex-SHEROCK), but he was only a live support drummer until he became an official member on March 5th, 2006. In June, the band had started activities in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area. Their first live was at Takadanobaba AREA on July 24th, and during this their first demo "Hime Koi Number" was distributed.

Their next activity was a string of 10 lives, all at both Takadanobaba AREA and Shinjuku club HOLIDAY, starting on August 4th and ending on October 12th. The live at Takadanobaba AREA on September 6th was a part of a h'evn sponsored event. The next three lives is when they distributed their second demo "Sarabai☆", which was released in MD format. The lives were on three consecutive days, starting on October 22nd, and all were at Shinjuku club HOLIDAY.

Before their debut single release, the band performed four lives: the first on November 5th at Shinjuku club HOLIDAY, the second on the 9th at Takadanobaba AREA, the third on the 22nd at Ikebukuro CYBER, and the last on December 2nd also at Takadanobaba AREA. Serial⇔NUMBER's first single "Aoi Kiseki" was released on December 18th. They also played a live that day at Takadanobaba AREA and sold the premium edition of the single there. The end of the year was only two lives both at Shinjuku club HOLIDAY, on December 28th and 31st.

The third live in Febraury, on the 24th, was at Shinjuku HOLIDAY. This was an important live as they created their alter-ego band Gothic†NUMBER then. March started with two consecutive lives, on the 3rd and 4th.
