Nakayama also choose to sing this song at the year of the program Kouhaku Uta Gassen for 1993. The single reached #4 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for 15 weeks, selling over 414,260 copies. The single also reached #6 on the Oricon yearly chart for 1993.
