"Shinin' Star" is Miyawaki Shion's second single. It was released as a limited single with only 1,000 copies printed. As a result, it did not chart on the Oricon charts. It was sold "by hand", meaning that to buy it, you had to go to the event and Shion would hand it to you personally. It was released as part of her participation in "The Rival" series with Kojo Seara. Shion's single won, because it sold out before Seara's did. Shion wrote the lyrics to this song herself.
