Information

"Suteki da ne" is the fourth single released by RIKKI. The title track was composed by popular game composer Uematsu Nobuo and was used as the theme song for the famous PlayStation 2 Final Fantasy X. The B-side "Pure Heart" was also written by Uematsu and is a vocal version of the infamous "Aerith no Theme" from Final Fantasy VII with lyrics penned by Shiratori Emiko. The single reached #10 on the Oricon charts and stayed on the charts for fourteen weeks. Due to the popularity of the song, "Suteki da ne" was re-released in 2004 under Square-Enix label.

The lyrics of the song laso were penned by the game's scenario writer Nojima Kazushige. Unlike Eyes On Me and Melodies Of Life, in order to keep the original meaning of the song, composer Uematsu decided to do not translate "Suteki da ne" to English. The music video for "Suteki da ne" featured RIKKI singing in a fores and on a plain along with FMV footages from Final Fantasy X.
