Taja is a Japanese pop duo currently signed to flying DOG label. They are known for their theme songs contribution of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and especially Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO.

Information

Taja was formed in 1997 by composer Yuji and vocalist Naho. They released their debut indie album Utsuriyuku Kawarazaru Mono on November 11th, 2001. During their indie day, aside from releasing album and live performing, the group also done composition an arrangement for other artists, such as Shibasaki Kou's Kagerou, B-side of her Ikutsuka no Sora single. In 2006, the group signed with Victor Entertainment's sub-label flying DOG. They made their major debut with the single Yume Wadachi and released their second indie full-length album on the same year. On July 1st, 2009, Taja released their first self-titled major album.
