Information

Around ages 5–6, Marie dreamed of becoming a singer one day. During her time at elementary school, she took part in various auditions for singing contests. In 2003, at 13 years old, she sung the song "Morai Naki" at the music festival Jaccom and she won a prize. When she became a junior high school student, she was sought after by a Fukuoka talent agency, however she didn't want to become a talent, Marie just wanted to make music. She was then introduced to GIZA studio during her third year of junior high school. In spring 2006, after graduating from junior high school, Marie went to live alone in Osaka, where the GIZA talent agency is located, and she started music activities such as live performances and songwriting. She planned to make music all time and she got approval from teachers of her local high school to visit school once a week. In spring 2007, her live performances caught the attention of a staff member of the record company. Marie then entered into full-fledged music production activities.

In July 2008, she made her debut with first indie mini-album Taikutsu na Coppelia. On February 25, 2015, her first major album Hanashi wa Sorekara da was released under GIZA studio.
